A multi-faceted talent Competition
The Green Idol will showcase talent from the following categories
MUSIC, ART, POETRY, DANCE, MODELING, FASHION, COMEDY
The Green Idol is part of the Green E-xpo taking place April 2010 celebrating Earth Day's 40th Anniversary and educating Atlantans on how to reduce their carbon footprints.

When and where are the auditions?

Saturday March 6th 9am-6pm for Singers, Rappers, Dancers, and Comedians
Sunday March 7th 3pm-7pm for Models, Fashion Designers, and Artists
 Both Audition dates will take place at 600 Means St. Atlanta Georgia 30318

Who can audition?

Green Idol auditions are open to interested participants in the following age group 5-12, 13-19, 20+. You will only compete with other contestants in your age group. There will be 3 finalists from each category (music, poetry etc..) and each age group. For example, there will be 3 finalists for poetry in the 5-12 age group, and 3 finalists for dance in the 5-12 age group etc….

Is there a Cost?
There is a $10 fee to audition; all proceeds will go towards continuing green awareness and education.

What do I audition with?

You choose the audition material content. If you are selected as a finalist you will go through a free workshop given by celebrities and professionals in your talent competition categories that will assist you with making your performances green.  No need to worry we will go through all of the details with you if you are selected as a finalist. The following is what you need to bring to the audition
•    $10 Application fee
•    All under age 18 must bring filled out and signed parent waiver (click the link below)
•    Model- Bring at least 3 professional shots with at least one being a head shot ( and resume if available), wear heels, and be prepared to walk
•    Fashion- Bring at least 3 sketches of fashion designs
•    Artist- Bring at least 2 returnable art pieces
•    Vocals and Poetry- Be prepared to perform vocal pieces
•    Dance- Be prepared to perform a dance routine of two minutes and bring music
•    Comedy- Be prepared to perform comedy


What are the prizes?
•    Poetry Winner- A professionally published book of the artists poetry
•    Art Exhibit Winner- Art displayed at nationally recognized art galleries in Georgia  
•    Comedy Winner- A professionally  recorded and packaged standup comedy DVD  
•    Singing/Rapping Winner-Studio recorded Promotional CD                  
•    Model Winner-Photo shoot/magazine spread   
•    Fashion Design- $500 to start own line      
•     Dance- Upcoming celebrity video auditions
